MARKET CHALLENGES

The Indian retail industry has been challenged with limited availability of knowledge and skill in the practice of purposeful planning and institutionalization of visual merchandising in stores. Store Management have had the challenge of limited or no formal training in using visual merchandising to optimize sales. This is compounded with rising attrition and the pressure of increasing consumer expectation for making informed decision making through display, demo and communication. The need of the hour is the empowerment of the front end with practical and simplified techniques to plan and implement effective visual merchandising that can deliver optimal sales.

This workshop helps understand the principles, techniques and management of in-store visual merchandising and effectively how to plan and implement them in real life business scenarios across different categories.

Every participant actively participates in STEP-BY-STEP INTERACTIVE GROUP EXERCISES to apply each concept learnt and ensure practical takeaways for their businesses.

Participants are grouped into teams based on their category of business they are in. A relevant case study with a narrative and business data is given to each team. Each team then applies learning from each section and builds a store for a business using schematic drawings and imagery collages from materials supplied to each team.
