Core Membership of RAI is applicable to retailers across sectors. To join as a Core member, a retailer must fulfill the following Criterias:

• Issue a tax invoice for every transaction
• Be registered under Goods and Services Tax (GST)
• Not employ child labour and comply with the law of land
• More than 50% of the organization's business or 100 Crore whichever is less should be from B2C retail business

Membership fee is based on Turnover.
